We are finally back. I'm so not a computer person and I think Luke gets tired of showing me over and over how to use all the new stuff on the computer. So I haven't been taking a ton of picture because I couldn't figure out how to put them on the computer, but now I have figured it out and can do it on my own.
Not a lot has been happening in our home lately. Dirk loves going outside (when the rain pauses for a minute). I have had to put locks on the door to make sure he doesn't get out. He also for some reason loves locking people out so we have to make sure to take keys with us whenever we step out. He loves jumping on the tramp and riding his scooter he got for Easter and is getting pretty good at riding.
With the weather we have been having it's been really hard to get all the things we need to get done outside, done. We got an apple tree from my grandparent for Dirk and finally got it planted this last week. Dirk is so excited to have apple and it's a 4 in 1 so it will have 4 different kinds of apples on one tree. We still want to finish cutting a big dead tree in the backyard and paint our house before we get our new windows.
Landy is doing wonderful and still growing like a weed. We took her to her 2 month appointment this week and she is 11.4 pounds and 22 1/2 inches tall and in the 75% of everything. She got all her shot and did pretty good with them. She was a little fussy not to much and had a small fever. She's starting to get really active and smiling (finally all my hard work is paying off). She is cooing and looking around taking everything all in. She is out growing a lot of cloths and I'm praying her blessing dress still fits when we bless her. She is really starting to get chunky and we love her little rolls. She is still really a good baby except for not sleeping at night (she wants to sleep all day and party all night.) Which is hard with Dirk. I'm getting any naps.
So here are some random picture of what we have been up to....
Here is the dress that Luke bought when we were in the hospital.

Well a lot has happened in the last month. Where to start?...
Dirk has finished potty training himself. I was so proud of him. He was doing really good before we had the baby except for #2. He would not do that on the potty. We tried stickers, toys, treats and nothing would work. Finally the day after we brought Landy home from the hospital he just started going in and doing. He would go in and take care of his business then call us to come see. It has been wonderful and I'm so happy I don't have to change his diapers anymore. It has really been a blessing.
He is doing so well with Landy. People have tried to trade him candy and toys for the baby but he has decided she is his and he's not going to giver her away to anyone. We are trying to make sure he gets is special time with us. We have been also doing fun little projects while Landy sleeps and I think that is helping too.
Landy is growing like a weed!! She is getting so big, so fast. It makes me a little sad I really want her and Dirk to stay little forever. She is a really good baby. She goes with the flow of things and has no problems as long as her tummy is full. She is sleeping pretty good once I get her to bed. She likes to stay up and watch the late show. She loves watching Dirk play. She is smiling a little, and talks a lot. She is very vocal at times. I can't wait for her to show more and more of her personality. Right now she is just a sweet little lady.
I have also enjoyed seeing all the nicknames we have given her. Dirk has so many and I wondered what we would come up with for her. Dirk's were Dirky Doo, Doo, Dirky Turkey, Bubba, Little Man and on and on. Landy's so far are Lando Commando (that is what Dirk calls her), Girl friend, Lil' Ladybug, Bug and Lady I don't think we ever call her just Landy.
Well sorry there are no new pictures on this post. We bought a new computer and our memory card won't work in it. We have to get a converter and that is Luke's job. So hopefully soon we will get some pictures up.

She's Here
The baby is here. My due date wasn't for another 3 weeks but she just couldn't wait any longer. Landy Nellie Roberts was born March 23 at 10:26 p.m. I went to the hospital for back pain and ended up getting admitted and induced. They started me around 4:00 in the evening and after a short labor she was here. She's a tiny little thing 6 lbs 5 oz. Here is our family before...
Here she is ... BEAUTIFUL !! I know I think she is the cutest thing in the whole world.
Here she is with her lights (while in the hospital). Look at her poor little feet.
This is Landy the night we came home from the hospital (I made the cute hat).
Here she is 4 days old.
This is the little lady with her big brother. Doo is so proud he can't stop loving her. He wants to hold her all day long.
Thanks everyone for the beautiful gifts, all the prays and love. We feel so blessed to have her and are so excited to watch her grow.

We finally decided to give Dirk a haircut. We loved his long hair so much. Were trying to let it grow until we had the baby but got impatient. So here is Dirks before picture...
Here is during...
Here is all the hair on the floor...
Here is the after (yeppy). He loves his new hair cut so much.
Here are the two boys with there new do's...
I think they both look so handsome!! I loved Dirk's long hair. I was so sad to see it go but I'm happy we won't have to blow-dry it anymore.

Big Boys Birthday
This last week was Dirk's 3rd birthday. We celebrated with family and it was so much fun. Dirk was so excited to have his cousin over and has asked none stop when they are coming back to play with him.
Some of Dirk's favorite things are... His favorite color is yellow. His favorite toy to play with is anything cars or trains. He loves to watch movies and snuggle in the chair (I hope that last a little bit longer). His favorite food is french fries and apples. He can be very sensitive at times and really doesn't like when anybody is sad. He is picking up on everything and we are learning to be way more sneaky with him. We love watching him learn new things.
Luke and I love making cakes and this year we decided our theme was construction.
Here is a picture of Dirk when he was just a couple of days old. He was such a beautiful baby (I know every mother feels that way). I can't believe how fast the time has gone by.
