More crafts

Oh here I am again posting more picture of stuff I have been sewing. You would really think I would have something else to blog about. This week was Luke's late week at work (I really hate late weeks). So I made 2 more baskets for my sweet mother-in-law. We went and picked the fabric on Tuesday. Then right away Wednesday I started cutting and sewing. I made Bev's (my mother-in-law), I didn't have enough time to make hers at Christmas with everyone else. I also made her good friend Peggy one. It took about 4 hours to cut all the fabric out then the sewing started, it takes about 3 or 4 hours to sew just one of them together. The pattern I used at Christmas had all the wrong measurements so I have kind of winged it and had to convert to fit the baskets. On another note I think I found the fabric I’m going to use to make all the crib bedding for the baby. Dirk pointed it out at the fabric store (I have completely corrupted my poor little boy). He said he liked it and I looked at it and it was just what I have been looking for, now I just have to find some accent fabrics to go with it. Then I can start that project. I’m hoping my sewing machine will survive all this sewing I have been doing a lot lately. So here is a picture of the fabric. I want a little input from other people, so if you like the fabric and don’t think I’m a crazy pregnant lady let me know. I know it's a little different.
